Product Description - Keyman Desktop

Keyman® enables you to write in your own language even when your language is not supported by Windows or installed on your computer. It easily allows you to switch between languages when inputting text. Keyman is application independent and works with all Windows®-based software applications. Keyman Desktop brings a simple solution to the complexity of typing in a range of languages and scripts that are either unsupported or only partly supported by the operating system.

With Keyman, you do not require a physical keyboard with your language on the keys. An on-screen keyboard makes it easy to learn a keyboard layout and allows you to enter text either by pressing the relevant key on the keyboard or clicking on the key on the on-screen keyboard.

Where a number of languages share many common letters but have few unique letters as with many of the European languages, Keyman makes it easy to type the extra letters unique to other related languages.

Tavultesoft Keyman Developer is the companion product to Tavultesoft Keyman Desktop, and contains the tools and documentation required to create your own keyboard layouts for use with Tavultesoft Keyman Desktop.

Keyman Desktop Light 7.0 and Keyman Desktop Professional 7.0 supports Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4, 2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista. Keyman Developer Professional 7.0 supports Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista.
