I was able to install keyman 8 on one machine but when I try to upgrade it to keyman 9 Pro the following error appeared.

It's not entirely clear to us what has caused this error. Does it occur each time you try and start Keyman 9 after the upgrade? If so, can you send us a diagnostic report following the steps at http://help.keyman.com/kb/40?
