Q. What is the Keyman Affiliate Program?
A.
The Keyman Affiliate Program allows you to promote Tavultesoft products for a performance-based commission. You may promote our products in various ways, including by placing links to our site on yours, promoting us off-line through flyers, and many more. All activities must comply with our terms & conditions as set out in the Keyman Affiliate Agreement.

Q. Does it cost me anything to become an affiliate?
A.
Absolutely not! It is 100% free to join our affiliate program. There is no charge to apply or to remain a Keyman Affiliate.

A. Your commission is performance based. What this means is that Tavultesoft will pay you for referring clients who purchase any of the following Keyman products:
- Keyman Desktop Light
- Keyman Desktop Professional
- Keyman Desktop Professional (Educational)
- Keyman Developer Professional
- Keyman Developer Professional (Educational)
KeymanWeb and the Keyman Branding Pack are excluded from the programme. New products may be added or removed from time to time.
Q. How does the affiliate program work?
A. The Keyman Affiliate Program is a revenue sharing program allows you to make money by referring clients to Keyman Desktop. You do this by easily placing links (containing your unique Keyman Affiliate ID) on your site to ours. When a visitor to your site clicks on the link and completes a purchase you earn a commission on the transaction.
You may also promote our products in your newsletters and via non online methods. All we require is that the client enters your unique Keyman Affiliate reference number at the time of ordering. This way we can track referrals that you have made and pay commissions on any referrals that result in a sale.
We track the commissions and make payment to you each month when the commission owed to you is greater than US$50. If the commission is less than US$50 it accrues to the following month.

Whether you're a beginner or advanced user, getting started is easy. From within the Keyman Affiliate area you can download banners and custom generated links for you to copy onto your website. Once those are in place, you're all set!

Q. How much commission do I earn?
A. Affiliates earn commissions of 20% of the purchase price of products in the Keyman Affiliates Program. An Affiliate can refer others to the Keyman Affiliates Program. Affiliates will earn commission of 5% on purchases made from the referral of Sub-Affiliates.
Q. What kind of links can I create?
A.
You can create both HTML graphical banners and standard text links. It is important that you implement these links on your website exactly as they are shown to ensure everything will work and we can track your referrals. Click here for details.

Q. Are there any tax implications?
A.
Australian residents will need to provide an ABN during the registration process. If no ABN is provided, Tavultesoft will be required to withhold 48.5% tax on all payments. Please speak to your financial advisor or accountant for more information on any tax implications as Tavultesoft cannot provide any taxation or financial advice.

You can keep track of your commissions through the reports section. Just login to the Keyman Affiliate area and all the information is at your fingertips.

Q. How often are reports updated?
A.
Our reports are updated instantly so you can get an up to the minute picture of your account activity. Occasionally there will be some slight delays, but typically you will be able to review the most current data.

Q. How and when do I get paid?
A.
Affiliates are paid monthly for the commissions earned in the previous calendar via one of these two options:
Cheque: Mailed to the address we have on file.
PayPal: Sent to the email address you enter on the payment screen.
If you have another preferred method of payment, please contact us and we will endeavour to accommodate you.

Q. Can I direct my commission to a charity?
A.
Some organisations are not able to receive income from programs such as these. Where this is the case we are happy to discuss donating any income used to a recognised charity. Please contact us to discuss your preferences.

An Affiliate may refer others to the Keyman Affiliate Program. These Affiliates are known as your Sub-Affiliates. The Sub-Affiliate is an Affiliate in their own right and as such, has all the entitlements as any other Affiliate including the ability to refer their own Sub-Affiliates.

Q. How do I refer other Affiliates?
A.
Keyman Affiliates are awarded commissions on the sales of affiliates they have referred to the program. These affiliates are known as sub-affiliates. To refer other potential Sub-Affiliates, login to the Keyman Affiliate Area with your login and password and click on the Signup Sub-Affiliates link. This will give you a special link to pass out to other potential affiliates. When a new affiliate signs up using your special link, you are awarded commission on all their sales.

Q. I know I referred a client, but I do not see him/her in my reports?
A.
Your reports should be updated instantly; however there is occasionally a slight delay. If after 24 hours you do not see the specific referral in your reports, please send us an email and we will look into the matter right away.

Q. I am not sure if my links/tags are working properly. How do I check that?
A.
You will usually be able to determine if your links are working by reviewing your reports. If you would like us to do a thorough review of your implementation, please send us an email and be sure to include your full URL with the exact location of the links.

In the event that you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot Password" link on http://www.tavultesoft.com/account/retrievepassword.php You will be taken to a screen where you are prompted to fill in the email address that you used to register for the affiliate program. After doing this, you will receive a reactivation code that you must enter online, which will allow you to reset your account password. If you need further assistance please contact our support at affiliates@tavultesoft.com.

Q. How do I change my payment method?
A.
If you wish to change your payment method, simply login to the Keyman Affiliate Area using your login and password and click on "Profile". From that screen you can review your current payment method and make any necessary changes.
