This package includes the Lao 2008 Basic and Lao 2008 Rapid keyboards and the Lao Unicode (OpenType) font Saysettha OT. Both keyboards use the official Lao standard layout and output Lao according to the Unicode standard. The Lao 2008 Rapid keyboard also automatically inserts (hidden) break characters at syllable boundaries to manage line breaking in Lao text entered without spaces.

This is a Geez (Ge'ez) language keyboard where the letters available are restricted to only those used in the Ge'ez language. The additional letters used in modern Ethiopic languages are not available from the keyboard. Thus these letters cannot be accidentally typed when composing a Ge'ez language document.

For Amharic, use the GFF Amharic keyboard. The Ge'ez keyboard cannot be used for Amharic.
