Topic I/O error 105

When I tried to install keymandesktoppro-7.0.233.0.msi (trial version) I received an error message "I/O error 105" with the following error message:
"Unable to instantiate Keyman COM: Schwerwiegender Fehler, ClassID: {7D8879C6-D830-4796-8021-7B6FF69558E4}"

When I try to start Keyman I again receive "I/O error 105" with this following:
"Fatal Error: Exception 'EOleSysError' in module kmshell.exe at 000184A7"

What to do? I am running WinXPPro, logged in as admin.

Hi Torsten,

Try uninstalling Keyman, rebooting the computer, downloading the installer again and re-installing from scratch. If you still get the same error, please look for a file called 'ExcMagic.Log' in either of the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Tavultesoft\Keyman Desktop Professional 7.0
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tavultesoft\Keyman Engine 7.0

If that log file exists, please email it to us at [email protected] so we can determine the cause of the error!
